IT WASN'T ME
All too often, Kenyans are content to blame our leaders and the government without stopping to consider their INDIVIDUAL responsibility and contribution to the problem.
You see, at the core of this national culture of corruption, are
individual ordinary Kenyans of good will who either willingly, or out of
sheer cynicism, frustration or despair, fail the integrity test at
personal level; a bribe here, a kick back there, exam cheating,
“overlapping” in traffic, tender fixing, wanton littering etc.
It is these ordinary Kenyans who, through a corrupt political process,
vote for leaders who mirror them, corrupt leaders; sending them into
high public office where they break public trust and steal taxes,
waste public resources, accumulate corrupt wealth all at the expense
of justice, security and prosperity of the voters
